The small size of the Cape Cod lantern

More compact than the medium version, this wall light keeps every element of the model: a conical ringed roof, a rounded clear glass globe scattered with bubbles, a double metal band and a cylindrical base. The arm forms a crook above the lantern before meeting the backplate. The solid brass has a sienna bronze finish, a coppery brown with subtle shading that suits stone, brick or timber cladding.

For a sheltered wall

Rated IP23, it is protected against rain falling at an angle but not against splashes: reserve it for a wall under an awning, a gallery or a covered porch. Its projection of 20.3 cm and width of 18.4 cm suit a narrow entrance. Fit it at around 1.70 m from the ground, beside the door rather than above it.

E27 bulb

The lampholder takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately; with a dimmable bulb, the light can be adjusted using a dimmer. A small filament LED in very warm white reproduces the effect of a flame lantern. Class I luminaire.
