A small glass porthole on a square plate
The nautical design of the Reef range returns in a reduced size: a glass cylinder, rounded at the bottom and engraved on the inside to diffuse the light, held by two rings and short vertical bars in cast aluminium. The square plate, with a moulded frame, is screwed to the wall. The hematite grey, dark and metallic, stands out well against a light render.
A soft light around the door
The frosted glass spreads the light to the sides and downwards without glare, while the metal dome closes off the top. The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; no bulb is supplied, and a round frosted LED in 2700 K is enough to mark out an entrance. The model works with a dimmer if the bulb is also dimmable. With its IP44 rating, it withstands rain on a facade, even without a canopy.
Compact size
It is 14 cm wide and projects only 16.5 cm from the wall, which makes it suitable for a narrow passage. It weighs 1.8 kg. Install it at about 1.70 m from the ground, or at the height of the top of the door frame; if you fit two, place one on each side of the door. Class I: remember to connect the earth conductor.
