About this light

An outdoor wall light in haematite, this "small" Reef is the size up from the mini: 27.3 cm high by 19.7 cm wide. The same etched glass cylinder, the same dark grey metal banding, but a larger presence that shows up better on the front of a house or beside a garage door. It takes an E27 bulb (not included).

Description

Proportions of the small size

With a height of 27.3 cm, a width of 19.7 cm and a projection of 22.2 cm from the wall, this model sits comfortably beside a standard front door or a patio door. It weighs 2.7 kg: screw the backplate into a solid wall. Recommended fitting height: between 1.70 and 1.90 m from the ground.

Haematite grey cast aluminium

The cast aluminium structure has a haematite finish, an anthracite grey with metallic highlights. The two rings and the vertical bars form a cage around the glass, beneath a domed cap. The glass cylinder is etched on the inside: seen from outside it looks frosted and gives a light with no bright spot.

Light source and rain resistance

Use an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, preferably LED to limit the heat in the glass; if it is dimmable, the wall light can be controlled from a dimmer. Rated IP44, it withstands rain and splashes: unsheltered walls, boundary walls, garage entrances. Class I, with earth connection.
