Tournai 4-Light Outdoor Wall Lantern, 116.8 cm

A Gothic lantern held in a scroll

The lantern flares upwards beneath a crown of moulded leaves. An S-shaped scroll links it to the long wall plate, above and below. The cast aluminium, handmade according to the manufacturer, comes in the Londonderry finish: a dark bronze brown whose raised details stand out lighter. The bubbled glass panes give the light an antique look.

Four E27 lampholders behind the glass

Four E27 lampholders each accept a bulb of up to 60 W; none is supplied with the wall light. The brightness can be adjusted with a dimmer, if the bulbs are dimmable. The IP44 rating protects it from rain and splashes: it can be fitted on an exposed facade or under a porch. The manufacturer states a 3-year anti-corrosion warranty.

A heavy load to fix to the wall

Weighing 26.94 kg and 43.2 cm wide, it requires a solid masonry load-bearing wall and fixings rated for this weight. Class I appliance: earth connection is mandatory. Install it on either side of a gate or carriage entrance, with the bottom of the plate above approximately 1.80 m.
