A sphere hanging from a crook
The arm leaves the backplate, curls into a crook above the globe, then comes back down to hold it by its ring. The sphere, in clear glass scattered with bubbles, is encircled by uprights and a band pierced with windows; a turned finial completes it. The aluminium, in a Londonderry finish, is an almost anthracite grey.
Three E14 bulbs for a main entrance
Three E14 candle lampholders each take a bulb of up to 40 W. Bulbs are not included: clear LED flame bulbs are enough to light a door and its steps well. The wall light can be used with a dimmer, provided the bulbs are dimmable. Rated IP44, it can be fitted on a wall exposed to rain as well as on a sheltered façade. Class I: connect the earth wire.
A wall light that stands out
The globe projects 37.5 cm from the wall, which lets the light spread to the sides; check that it does not obstruct the opening of a shutter or door leaf. At 3.69 kg, use wall plugs suited to the wall material. On each side of the door, fitting it at about 1.80 to 2 m above the ground keeps the globe above head height. The manufacturer guarantees it for 3 years against corrosion.
