The small Newbury lantern wall light keeps every detail of the original model: polished brass, bevelled glass, a curved arm and an octagonal backplate, in a format just 31.1 cm high. It suits a side door, a garden shed or a stretch of wall where a large lantern would be too bulky. One E27 lampholder, bulb not included.

Description

The Newbury design in a reduced size

Beneath the swan-neck arm, the lantern comprises a domed cap, a band of angled glass panes and a curved body, all framed in bright polished brass. The bevelled glass reveals the bulb and lampholder. The octagonal wall backplate features the same finish.

An E27 cap for a welcoming light

The E27 bulb, 60 W maximum, is not included; if dimmable, it can be adjusted with a dimmer. Choose a warm white filament LED: it remains visible and attractive behind the clear glass. The IP44 rating allows outdoor installation, exposed to showers; a spot under an overhanging roof will better protect the polished finish.

Compact size, simple installation

At 17.8 cm wide, with a 17.1 cm projection and weighing 0.89 kg, it suits a narrow wall or a passageway. An earth connection is required (Class I). For a series along a path or a terrace wall, space the wall lights evenly and align them at the same height, around 1.60 m.
