Burford black lantern outdoor wall light, textured blown glass, 25.3 cm

Tiered cap and cut-out scrolls

Everything here is curves. The round cap steps down in two tiers beneath a turned finial. Just below, a band of black steel pierced with scrolls forms the frieze. It holds a rounded blown glass globe, marked with tiny bubbles and closed at the bottom by a black knob. The whole piece hangs by its cap from a short bracket and a round backplate.

An E27 bulb behind the bubbled glass

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, not included. The textured glass softens the glare of the light source; a clear classic-shaped LED looks like a flame through it. On a dimmer, it needs a dimmable bulb. Rated IP44, the wall light withstands rain on an unsheltered wall.

25.3 cm high, for mounting beside a door

It measures 16.8 cm wide and projects 19.9 cm from the wall. Place it at shoulder height, around 1.65 m, on the handle side to light the lock well. Class I connection, with earth wire.
