Ledbury black lantern wall light, clear glass, 42.7 cm high

Upright lantern under a dome

The black aluminium lantern stands upright above a curved arm fixed to a moulded backplate. Its slim uprights frame clear glass panes that curve inwards at the top, under a ribbed dome topped with a finial. Beneath the lantern, a turned drop finishes the silhouette. The design echoes that of old town lanterns.

E27 bulb up to 60 W

The transparent glass protects the bulb and limits glare, while leaving it visible. E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum, bulb to be purchased separately; a clear filament LED suits the spirit of the lantern. The light can be dimmed with a dimmer, using a suitable LED. IP44 allows installation on a wall exposed to rain.

22 cm projection: a large wall light

At 17.3 cm wide with a 22 cm projection, this is a generously sized wall light: keep it for a clear wall. Fix the bracket about 1.70 m from the ground: the lantern then sits above head height and lights the doorstep from above. The same lantern is also available as a Ledbury bollard light and floor lamp.
