Teak column on a stainless steel wall plate

A round stainless steel plate screws to the wall; a horizontal arm in the same metal holds the teak column. The cylindrical opal glass diffuser is held by stainless steel rings and bars, then closed by a teak dome. The stainless steel is marine grade and the teak comes from Malaysia; seasonal oiling preserves the colour of the wood.

E27 cap up to 40 W, IP44 rating

The wall light takes an E27 bulb of 40 W maximum, to be purchased separately. It can be connected to a dimmer if you fit a dimmable LED. The opal diffuser sends light forwards and to the sides and hides the bulb. IP44 rating: it withstands rain on an exposed wall, but not a jet of water from a hose aimed at it.

14 cm projection, 2.25 kg

At 10 cm wide and with a 14 cm projection, it suits narrow walls between two openings. Allow for 2.25 kg to fix: wall plugs suited to the surface are enough. Place it at about 1.80 m from the ground beside a door, in line with the Poole bollard lights that border the access path.
