Outdoor wall light with motion sensor: a cubic dark grey cast aluminium base carries a square lantern in clear polycarbonate, with a white cylinder at its centre. The sensor, set in the front of the base, switches the light on as you pass. A single E27 bulb and 23 cm high: a model for the front door, the garage or a side path.

Description

Dark grey base and clear lantern

The base is a dark grey cast aluminium cube, from which the round sensor lens protrudes. Above it rises a clear polycarbonate prism with a square section, enclosing a white cylinder: it conceals the bulb and spreads the light over the height of the shade. The contrast between the dark metal and the clear shade is visible from a distance.

Lights up as you pass, E27 bulb of your choice

The sensor switches the light on when someone approaches, handy for finding your keys or taking out the bins without searching for the switch. The E27 lampholder takes a 25 W bulb, not included: a warm white E27 LED will do the job. The IP44 rating protects it from rain, so it can be fitted on a façade, even without a canopy.

Connection and positioning

The wall light is Class I: an earth connection is mandatory. It measures 23 cm high, 10 cm wide and projects 13 cm. Position it at around 1.80 m from the ground, beside the door, angled so that the sensor covers the access path.
