Glass cylinder and aluminium bracket

A vertical black aluminium wall plate carries an angled arm from which hangs the clear glass cylinder, closed at the top and bottom by two metal rings. The clear glass puts the bulb on display: a filament LED, pear or globe shaped, gives the best effect here.

Lighting that comes on as you pass

The motion sensor built into the base of the wall plate switches the light on when someone approaches: handy for finding your lock or taking out the bins without searching for the switch. The E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. The light works on/off only, with no dimming. Rated IP44, it withstands rain and splashes, on a façade or under a porch.

Dimensions and installation

The wall light measures 29 cm high and 12 cm wide, and projects 16 cm from the wall; the cylinder is 11 cm in diameter. For the sensor to cover the approach properly, fit it at about 1.80 to 2 m from the ground, facing the path or doorstep, with no obstacle in front.
