Geometric frame and clear tube

Four slim uprights and two plates form an open cuboid, fixed to the wall by a small square bracket. At the centre, a clear polycarbonate cylinder 8.5 cm in diameter protects the lampholder and the bulb. Polycarbonate withstands knocks better than glass, a plus near a passageway or a garden where children play. The sand black finish has a fine grain and a matt feel.

A bulb of 15 W at most

The E27 lampholder is limited to 15 W: at this power, an LED bulb is the sensible choice. The wall light is compatible with a dimmer if the bulb is too. For colour temperature, choose a 2700 K LED if you want a golden light on the facade. Its IP44 rating lets it withstand rain and splashes, on an exposed wall as well as under a porch.

Projection and installation

It measures 15 cm wide and projects 16.5 cm from the wall. Allow for fixing at about 1.70 to 1.80 m above the ground, next to the door frame, checking that the frame does not obstruct the opening of a door leaf.
