Bakerloo outdoor wall light, dark grey glass box, E27, 27 cm

A cast aluminium display case

The housing is die-cast in aluminium with a dark grey finish, a solid back against the wall and three transparent sides. The top and bottom plates overhang slightly, like the roof of a small lantern. The lampholder, mounted on the base, keeps the bulb in clear view: a clear filament LED bulb enhances the display-case effect.

Light and protection

The E27 lampholder is limited to 15 W, which points to an LED bulb. The wall light works with a dimmer, provided you use a dimmable bulb. With its IP44 rating, it is unaffected by rain and water splashes from watering: a garden wall, a veranda or an entrance are all suitable.

Weight and fixing

It measures 13 cm wide, projects 15 cm and weighs 1.277 kg: suitable wall plugs are enough on a solid wall, but use specific fixings on hollow brick or external insulation. Position it at around 1.70 m from the ground so that the bulb stays within the field of vision without causing glare.
