About this light

This grey cylinder outdoor wall light shines downwards from a fluted cast aluminium body, closed by clear glass. Set off from the wall by a bracket, it casts a cone of light over the façade, around a door or along a path. At 21.5 cm high, it stays discreet and can be used on its own or in a series.

Description

A fluted grey aluminium body

The cylindrical body is etched with fine vertical flutes that catch the daylight. It is made of cast aluminium in a grey finish and held away from the wall by a rectangular bracket. The underside is closed by a clear glass disc that reveals the bulb.

A downward beam, dimmer compatible

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, not supplied. A low-power LED is more than enough; choose one in 2700 K for a soft light on the façade. The light is stated as dimmer compatible: in that case, choose a bulb that is itself dimmable. Rated IP54, it is protected against dust and rain and can be installed on an exposed façade. Class I appliance: an earth connection must be provided.

Dimensions and mounting height

Allow 21.5 cm in height, 11.5 cm in width and 17.5 cm projection from the wall, for a weight of 1 kg. On either side of a front door, fit it at about 1.80 m from the ground to light the threshold without dazzling.
