Boden outdoor wall light in black, clear diffuser, 31 cm

A black cage around a clear diffuser

The steel housing is hot-dip galvanised, then coated with black powder paint. Three flat bars surround the clear polycarbonate and recall a workshop lantern. From the front, the lampholder and bulb remain visible: it is the bulb you choose that defines the look once lit.

Choosing the bulb

The E27 lampholder accepts 60 W at most; no bulb is supplied. Behind a clear diffuser, an amber LED filament bulb gives the glow of an old lantern, but may dazzle at eye level. Protected to IP54 against dust and splashing water, the wall light can be fitted on an unsheltered wall. Class I: provide an earth wire. With a dimmable bulb, the intensity can be adjusted with a dimmer.

Dimensions and installation

It measures 15.9 cm wide, projects 10.2 cm from the wall and weighs 1.55 kg. Mounted slightly above eye level, at around 1.80 m, it lights the threshold without putting the bulb in full view. Repeated along a wall, it sets a rhythm along a path or patio.
