Chelsea outdoor wall light, hanging copper lantern, 53 cm

Hand-crafted copper and scrolled bracket

Netlighting states that the lantern is hand-made from copper, which develops a natural patina over the years: the shiny metal in the photo darkens and turns brown outdoors. The bracket and wall plate are in black powder-coated aluminium. Hung from its finial, the lantern has four clear polycarbonate sides flaring upwards and a roof with cut-out edges.

An E27 bulb up to 60 W, in the rain

A single E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum, supplied without a bulb. A clear filament bulb suits the spirit of the lantern; if it is dimmable, it can be controlled with a dimmer. With its IP44 rating, it withstands rain on an uncovered façade. The housing is double insulated (Class II), with no earth terminal.

40 cm projection and 4.95 kg

The lantern is 25 cm wide and projects 40 cm from the wall. Fix the wall plate into solid masonry, using wall plugs suited to 4.95 kg and to the leverage of the bracket. Above a gate or garage door, leave enough height beneath the lantern for clearance.
