Aluminium band in front of the bulb
The decorative effect comes from this cast aluminium band, mounted inside the cylinder, just in front of the light source. The light is fixed to a vertical backplate and sits slightly away from it, which lifts it off the wall and adds depth. Graphite finish on all the metalwork. The manufacturer guarantees corrosion resistance for five years, excluding installation in coastal areas.
E27 lampholder, patterned light
The E27 bulb is not supplied; the maximum wattage is 60 W, and the wall light works with a dimmer when used with a suitable bulb. Choose a clear filament LED in 2700 K: visible through the cylinder, it enhances the play of shadows. The IP54 rating protects against rain and dust: a façade, porch or terrace wall are all suitable. Class I: an earth connection is mandatory.
The footprint of a small cube
At 16 cm high, 16 cm wide and projecting 16.7 cm, the wall light extends almost as far as it is tall, which is worth bearing in mind in a narrow passage. Position it at about 1.70 m above the ground, one on each side of the door for a symmetrical frame.
