About this light

This outdoor wall light with motion sensor follows the lines of the Genève: a rectangular housing projecting from a tall backplate, in grey aluminium. The sensor, set in the front face, switches the light on as someone passes. It lights upwards and downwards, ideal for an entrance, a path or a garage door.

Description

Sensor built into the front face

The passive infrared sensor forms a small round disc on the right-hand side of the housing. The rest of the design is unchanged: vertical aluminium backplate, raised block, upper and lower openings closed by a white diffuser.

Switches on as you pass, E27 bulb

When someone walks into the sensor's field, the light comes on both upwards and downwards. The E27 bulb must be purchased separately; choose an LED, which lights instantly at full brightness, unlike compact fluorescent bulbs. Class I appliance: an earth connection is required. With its IP54 rating, it withstands rain and dust: it can be fitted on a façade, under a porch or in the open.

Dimensions and sensor position

It measures 31 cm high and 21 cm wide, projects 9.5 cm and weighs 1.85 kg. The sensor must have a clear view of the area to be covered: position the wall light facing the path or the door, with no shrub or pillar in front, at about 1.80 m above the ground.
