Karlstad black outdoor wall light, gooseneck fisherman's lantern

Nordic-inspired black lantern

The model is inspired by the lamps found in Scandinavian harbours: a circular backplate, a slim arched arm and a wide shade sheltering a clear glass globe. The steel has a black finish; the light inner face of the shade acts as a reflector. Against white render, painted brick or pale joinery, the contrast makes the silhouette stand out by day and by night.

Light directed towards the doorstep

The shade directs the light down towards the ground and the doorstep, without glare. The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 75 W, to be purchased separately; we recommend a warm-toned filament LED to keep to the lantern spirit. With IP55 protection, the wall light withstands rain and dust, even on a wall with no roof overhang. Double insulation (Class II).

Fixing and projection

The light measures 22.5 cm high by 27 cm wide and weighs 1.8 kg. Its arm sits 42 cm from the wall: allow sufficient clearance along a narrow path. Above a garage or barn door, two or three wall lights spaced evenly give uniform lighting.
