Black outside, white under the shade
Seen in profile, the wall light consists of three elements: a circular backplate, a horizontal arm and a cone as wide as a plate, 32 cm from edge to edge. Galvanised steel with a black powder-coated finish covers the outside; the inside of the shade, painted white, acts as a reflector. The clear polycarbonate globe beneath the cone keeps the bulb visible. The design is inspired by Scandinavian lamps.
Lighting the doorstep without glare
The white reflector directs the light down towards the ground and lights the steps and the threshold. One E27 bulb, 60 W maximum, not included in the delivery: choose a filament LED to keep the decorative effect of the globe, and a dimmable one if the wall light is connected to a dimmer. With its IP55 rating, the wall light withstands driving rain as well as the dust of a gravelled courtyard. Class II insulation, no earth conductor.
Fitting on the façade
Plan the connection at about 1.80 m from the ground, or slightly higher above a door. The 42 cm projection matters in a narrow passage. Weight: 1.98 kg.
