About this light

This compact black outdoor wall light, the Mandal, directs its light towards the ground through a glass lens set beneath its rounded housing, which is 10.5 cm high. Description

A small, rounded black form

The galvanised steel has a uniform black powder-coated finish. The housing, straight at the back and curved at the front, stays discreet on the facade when switched off. Underneath, a ring surrounds the lens through which the light emerges.

Downward light

The 8 W GU10 LED lamp is included and delivers 560 lm in a warm white of 3000 K; a dimmer can be used to adjust the intensity. The downward-facing beam lights the ground without disturbing the neighbours or dazzling anyone in line with the door. IP44 rating: protected against rain and splashing water, suitable for outdoor installation, ideally under an eave. Class I, to be connected to the earth conductor. When the lamp fades, a standard GU10 off the shelf will replace it.

Projection and fixing

The housing is 9.3 cm wide and projects 12.2 cm from the wall; standard wall plugs are enough. Allow a height of about 1.70 m beside a door, or lower along an outdoor staircase.
