The Namsos is a square plate of die-cast aluminium in an aluminium-grey shade, held by four visible screws at the corners. Behind it, a recessed housing disappears into the wall. The lower part of the front opens onto an angled recess fitted with horizontal louvres: the upper part stays solid, which limits glare as you walk past. A glass pane protects the LED inside.

9.6 W LED and IP65 protection for an exposed wall

The light source is an integrated 9.6 W LED, supplied with the wall light. The IP65 rating means it withstands water jets: it can be fitted on a rain-lashed façade, a garden wall or an outdoor stairwell, without a canopy. A Class I appliance, it must be connected to earth.

Recessing and mounting height

Allow for a cut-out in the masonry for a housing 11.5 cm deep. The whole unit weighs 2.3 kg. To mark out steps or a path, place it low, about 30 to 40 cm from the ground, and repeat it at regular intervals; to light a doorway, fit it beside the door, at hand height.
