Description

Galvanised cover and die-cast aluminium body

The die-cast aluminium body sinks into the wall; only the galvanised steel cover protrudes, secured by two side screws. Unlike the square Namsos lights, there is no louvred grille: the front opens onto a long rectangular window closed by a diffuser, which gives a horizontal band of light.

A 5.2 W LED for marking rather than lighting

At 5.2 W, the integrated LED is intended for orientation: marking a step, the edge of a path, the corner of a low wall. It is supplied fitted. The IP44 rating protects it from rain: it is suitable for a façade or a wall under an overhang, but not for a spot that is hosed down. Class I: an earth wire must be provided.

Allowing for a recess in the wall

Allow for an opening the size of the body, slightly smaller than the cover, and 11 cm of depth for the housing. The weight remains modest at 1.6 kg. Align several wall lights at the same height, a few tens of centimetres above the ground, to draw a line of light along a path.
