About this light

Graphite version of the Namsos recessed outdoor wall light: a 22 cm square plate in very dark grey, almost black, sitting flush with the wall. Its louvred recess casts light downwards, onto steps or a terrace floor, without dazzling anyone. Against dark render, anthracite cladding or dark stone, it stays discreet by day. 9.6 W LED source integrated and included.

Description

Graphite finish and louvred recess

The graphite finish gives the facade a matt anthracite grey that blends in with dark aluminium window frames and dark render. Four screws at the corners hold this die-cast aluminium plate onto its recessed box. In the lower half, an angled cut-out holds horizontal louvres in the same shade: you see the light on the ground, not the source, which is sheltered behind a glass pane.

What IP65 and the 9.6 W LED allow

Protected against water jets, it can be exposed directly to the weather, even on an exposed boundary wall. The 9.6 W LED is integrated and supplied. The fitting is Class I: the circuit must include an earth connection.

Installation in masonry

The box needs 11.5 cm of depth in the wall, for a plate 22 cm square weighing 2.3 kg. On an outdoor staircase, one wall light every two or three steps, fitted close to the ground, is enough to mark the step edges; on a terrace, align them at the same height along the wall.
