Paris Large black half-sphere outdoor wall light, 28 cm

Matt black shell on galvanised steel

Beneath the black paint, the pressed steel has first been hot-dip galvanised against rust: two layers of protection for a piece that stays outdoors all year round. The silhouette is simply a quarter sphere with a flat back, with no visible screws on the front. The underside is closed by a clear glass diffuser.

Downward light, for installation under shelter

The beam runs down the wall and lights the ground in front of the door without dazzling the neighbours. Fit an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, as none is supplied; a warm white 2700 K LED suits an entrance well. Its IP43 rating protects it from rain falling at an angle: use it only on a wall covered by a canopy, a balcony or an overhanging roof.

Large size and connection

Allow for 28 cm wide, 14 cm high, 16 cm projection and 0.94 kg to fix. Beside a single door, the smaller standard version is enough; this one suits a double door or a glazed patio door. Class I: connect the earth wire. A height of about 1.80 m places the glow at handle level.
