About this light

Black outdoor wall light from the Stockholm series, styled like a Nordic lantern: a very wide round shade, a clear cylinder and horizontal rings framing the bulb. The black picks out the silhouette sharply against light render or stone. Compact 31 cm size for an entrance, a garden shed or a terrace.

Description

Galvanised steel with a black powder coating

The steel is first hot-dip galvanised, then covered with a black powder paint: the rust protection comes from the galvanising, the colour from the coating. The underside of the shade stays white, which is visible from below and reflects the light. The clear polycarbonate diffuser shows the bulb, held by black rods and bands.

Lighting a front door

Use an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not included. The light is directed downwards and to the sides, as the shade blocks light towards the sky. With its IP54 rating, the wall light withstands rain and dust. Class II: no earth connection is required. The wall light works with a dimmer, provided the bulb is also dimmable.

Dimensions for installation

27 cm wide, 29 cm projection and 2.11 kg: the wall light is easily fixed to an ordinary wall. Mounted at around 1.70 m from the ground beside the door, it lights the lock and the steps.
