About this light

A small graphite cube outdoor wall light, the Torsten forms a 16.5 cm block whose white diffuser lights up on several sides. The light spreads in every direction, towards the ground, the wall and the walkway. It suits an entrance, a low wall or a gate pillar, anywhere you want a clean, compact shape.

Description

An opal cube topped with graphite

The graphite grey aluminium body is reduced to a square cap and slim edges that hold the white polycarbonate diffuser. Seen from the front, the wall light looks like a plain cubic lantern. The Torsten range also comes in a taller rectangular format.

An E27 source for accent lighting

A 60 W E27 bulb fits inside; it must be purchased separately, and a dimmable model makes the wall light dimmer-compatible. A warm white LED gives an even glow through the polycarbonate. With an IP44 rating, the wall light withstands rain: fit it on a façade or under an overhanging roof. Class I, with earth wire.

Projection and positioning

The cube projects 17.1 cm, slightly more than its width: leave room if a door leaf or shutter folds back against the wall. It weighs 0.72 kg. On a gate pillar, centre it; near a door, allow about 1.70 m from the ground.
