Valencia Grande Outdoor Wall Light, Black Upright Lantern, 79 cm

Vertical silhouette with a double finial

Here the lantern is not suspended: it rests on the arm, which extends from a moulded backplate and is supported by a curved bracket. The roof with raised sides carries a slender finial, and a second point extends below the support, lengthening the whole piece. The aluminium is die-cast and lacquered black; the side panes are made of slightly tinted polycarbonate.

An E27 bulb with IP54 protection

The lampholder takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. A pear- or flame-shaped LED remains visible through the panes: choose a warm white, around 2700 K. Protected against dust and water splashed from any direction, this wall light copes with a façade lashed by heavy showers. Class II, so there is no earth terminal to connect.

Dimensions and mounting height

Allow 32 cm in width and 47 cm of projection. As the light comes from the top of the wall light, the backplate can be fitted a little lower than with a hanging lantern: about 1.60 to 1.80 m between the ground and the arm. At 3.6 kg the weight is moderate, but it requires a solid fixing in masonry.
