Valencia outdoor wall light, black up-facing lantern, 62 cm

The Valencia lantern standing on its arm

The bracket starts from a moulded backplate fixed to the wall, curves into a scroll and carries the lantern from below. The lantern has six glazed sides in slightly tinted polycarbonate, a roof with curved panels and a slender spire. Beneath the arm, a second point balances the composition. The body and bracket are made of die-cast aluminium in black.

Bulb, wattage and weather resistance

The lantern accepts an E27 cap bulb up to 60 W, not supplied. A clear filament LED shows its filament through the glass and recalls gas lanterns. The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashed from all directions: a wall exposed to showers is not a problem. Class II means no earth connection is required.

Projection and positioning

The 33 cm projection remains reasonable for a narrow passage or a path running alongside the house. Placed on either side of a door, a pair of up-facing lanterns frames the entrance; allow about 1.60 m from the ground to the arm so that the bulb sits at eye level or slightly above.
