Galvanised steel and clear globe

The body is made of galvanised steel: a light grey metal with uneven reflections, reminiscent of farm and harbour lighting. The tubular arm leaves a circular backplate, runs horizontally and then drops at a right angle towards the shade. The shade, a slightly conical disc, shelters a clear polycarbonate cover that lets the bulb show through.

IP55 rating and a bulb of your choice

IP55 protects against dust and water jets from any direction: an unsheltered wall, a gable exposed to the wind, or near a watering system. The E27 lampholder is supplied empty and accepts 60 W maximum. We recommend an LED, which gives off little heat inside a closed globe. Class II: no earth wire to connect.

Projection and mounting height

With a projection of 38 cm and a width of 27 cm, the shade sits well forward of the wall and lights the ground in front of the door. At 1.55 kg, a standard fixing in masonry is enough. Allow about 2 m from the ground for the backplate above a door, slightly less beside the door frame.
