A graphite half-cylinder in die-cast aluminium
The body is made of pressure die-cast aluminium, a heavy, rigid construction designed for harsh climates. Its rounded front, in a matt graphite grey, shows no screws in the photo. At the bottom, a textured diffuser lets through a softened light; according to its data sheet, the wall light also shines upwards.
IP65-protected façade lighting
The IP65 rating means the wall light withstands jets of water: driving rain, watering, hosing down. It can therefore be fitted on an exposed wall, without a canopy. The E27 lampholder takes a 60 W bulb, which is not supplied. To light an entrance without glare, choose an E27 LED in 2700 K. The fitting is Class I: it must be connected to earth.
Slim projection and fitting next to a door
With a projection of 15.5 cm, it protrudes little from the wall and does not hinder passage in a narrow path. It weighs 2.17 kg: fix it with wall plugs suited to the surface, brick or concrete. Fitted at about 1.80 m to 2 m above the ground, beside a door, it lights the threshold and the lock while giving the façade character.
