Sheffield black half-cylinder outdoor wall light, 2 GU10 LED, 24 cm

A column cut in half

The black cast aluminium body takes the shape of a smooth half-tube, without fluting, mounted on a narrow backplate. Its clear glass ends hint at the reflectors inside. At 10 cm wide and projecting 10 cm, it stays compact and weighs 1 kg.

Light towards the sky and the ground

Each end houses a 3 W GU10 LED bulb. Both are supplied and together deliver 460 lm at 2700 K. The technical datasheet lists it as dimmable, so it can be used with a dimmer suited to LEDs. The two beams draw two opposing lines of light on the wall, accentuating the lines of the house.

Where to place it

Its IP44 rating makes it suitable for outdoor use, in the rain or under a canopy. Install it at eye level, around 1.60 to 1.80 m, on a gate pillar or on either side of a glazed patio door. Fitted in a row along a wall, regular spacing creates a rhythm of bands of light.
