Rectangular recessed LED wall light, shown horizontally: a 20.5 cm long brushed chrome frame surrounds a wide strip of opal polycarbonate. The elongated shape spreads light over a greater width than a square model, which is useful for a wide flight of steps, a path wall or the base of an entrance façade.

Description

Opal strip and aluminium frame

The rectangular version of the Ankle shares the construction of the chrome square models: aluminium front plate in a brushed chrome finish with bevelled edges, white polycarbonate diffuser and a stainless steel rear box to be built into the masonry. The light window takes up almost the whole front, as a long rectangle.

413 lm across the full width of a step

Its integrated 3.3 W LED, factory-fitted, delivers 413 lm at 4000 K, with no dimming. It lights a strip of ground the width of a step or a pavement. IP65 rating: dust cannot get in and water jets will not damage it, which allows low installation, exposed to splashes and jet washing.

Cut-out dimensions

The front plate measures 20.5 cm long by 9.5 cm high; the body sinks in by 5.5 cm and the whole unit weighs 0.35 kg. Mark out the recess during construction, in a low wall, a stair riser or a retaining wall. It can also be installed indoors, in a stairwell wall or in a ceiling. Class I, with earth connection.
