Alex outdoor wall light, black hexagonal lantern with motion sensor

Six glass panes and a finial

The die-cast metal body, in a matt black finish, forms a hexagonal lantern standing on its arm: a roof with a rim, a round finial on top and a decorative point beneath the base. All six sides are closed with clear glass, which shows the lampholder and the bulb.

Lights up as you pass

The motion sensor housed in the wall plate switches the light on when someone approaches. The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, not supplied; a clear filament LED bulb keeps the look of an old lantern. The IP44 rating allows outdoor installation, preferably sheltered by an overhanging roof.

Size and positioning by the door

At 37 cm high, 17 cm wide and projecting 22.5 cm, the lantern is visible from afar without being bulky. It weighs 1.2 kg. Position it beside the door, about 1.70 m above the ground, with the sensor clear of any obstruction.
