About this light

The rust brown version of the Alex wall light, this outdoor lantern with sensor keeps the traditional design with six glazed sides, overhanging roof and finial. The rust shade, warmer than black, suits stone or brick façades and timber cladding. The motion sensor housed under the arm controls switching on.

Description

Rust finish on a classic lantern

Die-cast metal painted rust brown, clear glass on all six sides, a lightly pagoda-shaped roof topped with a ball: the lantern recreates the look of old-fashioned street lighting. The even colour gives an aged appearance without any real rust effect.

Detection and E27 cap

When the sensor detects movement, the lantern switches on. It takes a bulb with an E27 cap of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. To complement the rust shade, an amber 2200 K LED gives a glow close to candlelight. IP44 rating: it withstands showers and splashes, ideally under the shelter of a canopy.

Height and dimensions

The lantern measures 37 cm high, 17 cm wide and projects 22.5 cm, and weighs 0.9 kg. Mounted at shoulder height near a gate or garage door, it lights the way as soon as you approach.
