Wire Anthracite Outdoor Recessed Wall Light, 14 cm Square LED

A curved anthracite grey plate around a luminous niche

The Wire is a 14 cm by 14 cm square whose slightly domed face sits almost flush with the wall. In the centre, an opening rounded at the top forms a niche whose sloping back stays in shadow when viewed from the front. The body combines aluminium, metal and glass, in an anthracite finish that blends into grey render or cladding.

180 lm of grazing light, left exposed

The light source is a 4 W integrated LED, supplied, producing 180 lm at 3000 K, a warm white light. This output is meant to mark out and guide your steps rather than light an entire terrace. With its IP65 rating, the wall light withstands water jets: it can stay exposed to rain, on a low wall in the middle of the garden or along an access ramp.

Recessed into the wall or low wall

The light fitting sits inside the masonry; the specification gives a projection of 7.5 cm and a weight of 0.46 kg. Plan the recess and the cable entry before rendering. For a staircase, install one at ankle height every two or three steps.
