About this light

A small recessed outdoor marker light, the 9 cm Wire marks a step, a threshold or the edge of a terrace without harsh light. Its anthracite face with a hollowed niche lets a thin ribbon of light spill downwards. At 90 lm, it works as a night-time guide and does not replace entrance lighting.

Description

The compact Wire format in anthracite

This model takes the design of the range onto a square reduced to 9 cm per side: a frame with slightly rounded edges, a central arch-shaped opening and a sloping back that hides the light source. The dark grey shade suits dark façades, concrete risers and stone garden walls. Materials: aluminium, metal and glass.

A simple point of reference

The integrated LED, supplied with the light, uses 1.5 W for 90 lm at 3000 K. It is an outdoor night light: enough to see where to place your foot, too little to light a door. IP65 rating: water jets and dust cannot get in, which allows exposed installation, right at the edge of a watered lawn or a step washed down with a hose.

Installation and positioning

Stated projection: 7 cm; weight: 0.22 kg. The body is fitted into the riser or the wall and wired before the finish is applied. On an outdoor staircase, one wall light per step or every other step gives clear marking; along the edge of a terrace, align them at the same height.
