You will recognise the rectangular wall plate, the tubular crook-shaped arm and the stacked lampshade, open at the base like a workshop lamp hat. The clear ribbed glass underneath sends the light downwards. The patinated paint gives the metal a worn look.

Lighting with an E27 bulb

A single E27 lampholder, for a bulb of up to 60 W, not supplied. The light is described as dimmable: a dimmable LED on a dimmer gives a soft, subdued light. For a doorstep, a low-energy warm white E27 LED is more than enough. The IP44 rating allows outdoor use, exposed to showers; it is connected with an earth wire, as Class I requires.

26.4 cm projection, weight of 2.07 kg

It projects 26.4 cm from the wall, noticeably less than the larger model: an advantage in a side alley or under a low eave. Fix it at about 1.70 m above the ground, next to the door, to light the lock. Its 2.07 kg requires wall plugs suited to your wall.
