About this light

This Swipe grey LED outdoor wall light combines a metal wall base with a square light panel held between two side pivots. The integrated LED gives a warm white light of 3000 K at 2300 lm, enough to light a front door, a garage or a terrace. The light grey body stays discreet against render or pale stone.

Description

A square panel pivoting on a grey base

The rectangular base is screwed to the wall; on either side, two cylinders act as the axis for the light panel. The light-emitting face, white and opal in the photo, is surrounded by a grey frame. The whole is made of metal and plastic and weighs 1.2 kg.

An integrated 2300 lm LED in warm white

The light source is supplied: a 20.5 W LED module delivering 2300 lm at 3000 K, a generous output for a wall light of this size, directed forwards and downwards. It cannot be dimmed, as the intensity is fixed. With its IP54 rating, the light is protected against dust and splashing water: it suits a façade exposed to rain as well as a wall under an overhang.

Fitting above a door

At 21.2 cm long, it stays compact above a door frame. Place it at about 1.80 m to 2 m from the ground so that the light covers the threshold without causing glare. Class I appliance: the circuit must include an earth conductor.
