About this light

This black outdoor LED wall light is a single 18 cm matt aluminium disc, mounted flat against the façade. The black finish picks out dark joinery, steel railings and grey render. Its 9 W, 950 lm LED, included, is enough for a front door, a garden gate or a corner of the terrace.

Description

A matt black disc with no visible diffuser

The shape is pared down to the minimum: a solid black circle with a thin edge. Nothing protrudes from the front face, not even a screw. As this face is opaque, light can only escape around the edge of the disc: it illuminates the wall around the light rather than the space in front of it.

Light and weather resistance

The integrated 9 W, 950 lm LED module, supplied with the light, produces a warm white of 3000 K. It works at constant intensity. IP54 rating: the housing resists dust and water splashes, on a rain-lashed gable end as well as under a porch roof.

Fitting near a letterbox

With a projection of just 3 cm, the wall light does not catch as you pass, even along a narrow access path. Its weight, 0.82 kg, requires no special fixing. Class I: use a cable with an earth conductor. Placed above a letterbox or an intercom, it makes reading easier at night.
