Mirror chrome, clear glass and black rings
The steel body is finished in polished chrome, a reflective finish that bounces back the light of the bulbs. Two supports extend from the round central backplate, each holding a clear glass cylinder guided by slim chrome rods. Black ribbed end caps close the tubes, and a black sleeve marks the centre.
Light and use in the bathroom
Two E27 lampholders, maximum 40 W per bulb, are waiting for your bulbs: they are not supplied. As the glass is clear, opt for tubular filament LEDs, which look better than a frosted globe. The wall light can be used with a dimmer, provided the bulbs are compatible. With its IP44 rating, it withstands water splashes: it is suitable for the bathroom, except in the shower area. Its Class I connection requires an earth.
Dimensions and weight
Allow for 61 cm in width, 12.2 cm in height and 12.8 cm of projection. At 2.1 kg, it deserves a secure fixing into a solid wall. Above a vanity unit, align its centre with that of the mirror; in a hallway, fit it at about 1.70 m from the floor.
