Batton outdoor wall light in matt black and smoked glass, 39 cm

Matt black body and vandal-resistant smoked diffuser

The stainless steel body has a smooth matt black finish: a straight line ending in a rounded bevel beneath the mounting. At the top, the smoked glass forms a translucent cylinder closed by a black cap. This diffuser is stated to be vandal-resistant, an asset for a wall light within easy reach near a gate or a pavement.

An E27 lampholder, dimming possible

A single E27 lampholder takes up to 60 W; the bulb must be purchased separately. The product is stated to be compatible with a dimmer: pair it with a dimmable E27 LED. For a soft glow through the tinted glass, choose a filament LED of around 2700 K. Its IP44 rating allows it to be used on a façade exposed to driving rain as well as under a porch.

Compact footprint on the façade

At 7.7 cm wide, Batton fits on a narrow pier between two openings. It projects 18.5 cm from the wall and weighs 0.373 kg. Position it at about 1.70 m above the ground, or install one on each side of the door. Class I appliance, to be connected to the earth conductor.
