A lighthouse lantern in steel and textured black aluminium
The body combines steel and aluminium in a slightly grainy black finish. The clear glass, dotted with bubbles, shows the bulb while softening its glare a little. Three horizontal rings and slim vertical uprights surround the cylinder; the lantern is carried by a rectangular backplate fixed to the wall.
An E27 bulb under glass, built to withstand rain
The E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of 60 W maximum, to be purchased separately. A clear filament LED shows off the bubbled glass: choose it rather than an opaque model, and a dimmable one if you are fitting a dimmer, which this wall light accepts. IP44 rating: the wall light withstands rain and splashes, on a façade, under a porch or against a garden wall. Class I luminaire, to be connected to earth.
Dimensions and mounting height
Allow 18.1 cm in width and 22.9 cm projection from the wall. At 2.62 kg, fix it to a solid support (masonry, solid wood) rather than lightweight cladding. On either side of a door, align the top of the lantern roughly with the top of the door frame.
