About this light

A white outdoor wall light shaped like a harbour lantern: a small-paned cylinder, bubble glass and a rounded bell-shaped top. At 30.1 cm high, it suits the front door of a detached house or a light-coloured facade where a black light fitting would stand out too much. The textured white finish stays discreet by day.

Description

White glazing bars and bubble glass

Three tiers of panes surround the lampholder, protected by a bell-shaped cap topped with a knob. The lantern hangs from a short arm extending from a moulded wall plate. The weather-resistant composite body has a textured white paint finish with a matt look.

Light diffused all around

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 40 W, sold separately. It works with a dimmer, provided you choose a dimmable LED. As the glass is clear, the shape of the bulb remains visible: a filament LED or a clear globe bulb in 2700 K gives the best result. IP44 rating: it withstands showers and splashing water, on a facade as well as under a porch.

Space needed on the wall

The lantern is 20.7 cm in diameter and projects 23.2 cm from the wall, and weighs 1.34 kg. Check the space left by a door that opens outwards. To frame an entrance, fit one wall light on each side at the same height, with the top roughly in line with the top of the door frame.
