About this light

The smallest of the Freeport range: a 23.8 cm black outdoor wall light shaped like a cylindrical, grid-patterned lantern. It keeps all the details of the larger models (bell-shaped top, bubbled glass, moulded backplate) in a size suited to narrow walls, a garden shed, a cellar door or an outdoor staircase.

Description

A miniature lantern

Despite its compact size, the lantern keeps its grid of cross-bars, its flared roof and its horizontal arm fixed to a rectangular moulded backplate. The clear bubbled glass is set in a weather-resistant composite body, painted in textured black.

E27 lampholder, 40 W maximum

Bulb not included. You can connect the wall light to a dimmer using a dimmable bulb. A small warm-white LED bulb with an E27 cap is enough to light a doorstep or a lock. The bubbled glass scatters the light and prevents direct glare. IP44 rating: protected from rain, it can be fitted on an exposed or sheltered wall.

15.5 cm in diameter, 0.9 kg

It projects 18.5 cm from the wall, which makes it easy to fit between a door and a window. Its light weight simplifies installation on timber cladding. For an outdoor staircase, plan for one wall light at the top and another at the bottom of the steps, at around 1.60 m above the stair nosing.
