Byron outdoor wall lantern in graphite, pewter-colour reflector, 45.7 cm

An old-fashioned façade lantern

The steel and aluminium frame, finished in graphite, holds bevelled-edge panes that catch the light in tiny sparkles. The stepped top is crowned with an arched handle, recalling the lanterns once carried by hand. Behind the lampholder, a perforated pewter-colour disc reflects the light forwards. Copper is also used in its construction.

E27 lampholder, bulb of your choice

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, not included. The clear panes show the light source: choose a globe-shaped filament LED in 2700 K, which shows off the reflector. The lantern also works with a dimmer, provided the bulb is dimmable. The IP44 rating means it can be installed on a rain-lashed façade as well as under a canopy. Class I: the earth wire must be connected.

45.7 cm for large entrances

The large size is 25.4 cm wide and projects 21.6 cm from the wall, and weighs 5.85 kg: fix it into solid masonry. It balances a double door, a carriage gate or a garage wall. For a single door, the small model will be better proportioned.
