Hanging lantern beneath a swan-neck arm
The arm rises from the top of the wall plate, curls into a scroll and holds the lantern by a ring. The glass body takes the shape of an urn: a moulded cap at the top, a rounded glass bowl between vertical uprights, then a finial turned into a drop beneath the base. The rectangular wall plate is edged with a beaded border. The aged bronze finish, almost black, lets copper-coloured highlights show through on the raised details.
E27 lampholder and clear bubbled glass
Use an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum; the lantern is sold without a bulb. It accepts a dimmer, with a dimmable bulb. A 2700 K filament LED gives, beneath the bubbled glass, the effect closest to a flame. The IP44 rating allows installation on a façade exposed to the weather, with or without a canopy.

The arm holds a 2.46 kg lantern 30.2 cm away from the wall: check that no shutter or outward-opening door will knock against it. Fix the wall plate so that the bottom of the lantern sits just above shoulder height. A pair on either side of a double door remains in proportion.
