Cleveland compact gooseneck outdoor wall light, 41.5 cm

A gooseneck in aged aluminium

A curved scroll rises from the backplate and holds the lantern from above. The rounded glass shade, framed by slim uprights, is closed by a moulded cap and ends in a small turned pendant. On the wall backplate, a beaded edge echoes the vocabulary of old cast-iron light fittings. The aluminium, tinted aged bronze, stays dark, with a few copper tones at the corners; the clear glass is flecked with tiny bubbles.

Accent light for a secondary entrance

An E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, not supplied. For path lighting, a clear E27 LED in 2700 or 3000 K is enough; choose a dimmable one if you connect the lantern to a dimmer, which it accepts. Rated IP44, the lantern withstands rain and splashes on an exposed wall: no shelter is required.

18.5 cm wide for narrow walls

Its width of 18.5 cm, projection of 23.8 cm and weight of 1.33 kg allow it to fit between a door and a corner of wall, or on a pier between two windows. Fix the backplate at about 1.80 m from the ground so that the light falls on the handle and lock.
