Lahden square lantern outdoor wall light in weathered zinc with chain links, 44 cm

A lantern hung from its links

The square housing, in aluminium with a weathered zinc finish, frames clear glass panes dotted with bubbles. It is not fixed directly to the wall: chain links and a ring, brass-coloured in the photo, connect it to a rectangular backplate fitted with a knob in the same tone. This contrast of metals recalls traditional ironwork.

E27 bulb

The lampholder takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included. A clear filament bulb shows through the bubbled glass and recalls an oil lamp. IP44 rating: the lantern withstands rain on an exposed façade. Class I, earth connection.

Dimensions

44 cm high, 17.8 cm wide, 19.7 cm projection. Its height calls for a clear wall beside the door; fix the backplate high enough that the bottom of the lantern stays above eye level.
