Chimney cap and curved shoulders

The top of the lantern rises in steps like a chimney flue, then flares into curved shoulders down to the glazed box. The aluminium has a museum black finish, a matt black with a slightly aged look. The clear bubble glass covers the front and the sides, held by a frame with riveted corners. The flat back fixes onto the wall, with no arm.

Two E14 candle bulbs behind the glass

Two candle-style lampholders each take one E14 bulb of up to 40 W, not included. Flame or filament LEDs extend the candlelit lantern effect. Variable intensity: with dimmable bulbs, a dimmer can lower the light in the evening. The IP44 rating allows installation on a façade exposed to rain.

A flat lantern projecting just 13.7 cm

At 43.9 cm high and projecting only 13.7 cm, this half lantern suits narrow entrances where a bracket-mounted lantern would be in the way. Its weight of 3.4 kg calls for a sound wall and wall plugs suited to the material. Beside a front door, fit it so that its centre sits roughly at eye level.
